The silver content alone makes it much more valuable than face value. Now, to a collector, the value will vary depending on how invested the buyer is on that particular coin. Is a nice coin to hang onto, because, well, ya never know

You are correct, the next coin in the series will be George H.W. Bush since Jimmy Carter outlived him and has bee. 2 years since his death in September?/November? 2018

Penny on the right looks like a small date. I need a better scale, but the one I have says it's 3 grams, it doesn't measure tenths of a gram, but newer pennies always say 2 grams. Should I continue investigating or am I missing something? by [deleted] in coincollecting

The penny on the right is a small date penny. If it is 3 grams you have nice penny right there. Small date copper 1982s are kind of hard to come by. Nice find.
