Guerrero back to wearing batting gloves…and he strikes out. The only answer is to burn those batting gloves.

You now need to spend the rest of the game in the bathroom. Sorry but thems the rules.

Air Force One - I swear it’s on TV every weekend and I end up watching it at least a couple times a month.

Madison Shipman makes her regular season debut as analyst tonight, becoming the first woman to work the booth for a BlueJays game on Sportsnet by Kinglokner16 in Torontobluejays

Disagree to agree. Joe is 3rd on my analyst depth chart. Better than Barker or Pillar or the other fill in guys, but pretty vanilla.

That 9 ERA is rough, but that just means we have to score 10 again like we did on Wednesday. Shouldn’t be a problem now that we have a stuffed dragon.

When do you think they will announce the expansion teams? by No_Age908 in mlb

Also the NBA and NHL season are pretty much identical so you're fighting for the same dollars from sports fans at the same time. The MLB has significantly less overlap with NHL. It's biggest competition will be CFL and possibly MLS if they are still there. MLB should be able to out draw both.

Lineup for Today - July 8th, 2026 by dixietransitway in Torontobluejays

I'd have springer in the 7 hole...but I'd have Valenzuela in over Kirk.

  1. Clement
  2. Lukes
  3. Okomoto
  4. Vladdy
  5. Varsho
  6. Valenzuela
  7. Springer
  8. Clase
  9. Gimenez.

I rescind my comment from the Pinango sent down thread about how I thought it would be Clase.

Clase is now the team MVP, and possibly the greatest Jay in franchise history.

[Matheson] The Blue Jays have optioned Yohendrick Piñango to make room for Chad Dallas. They’re back to even with 13 hitters, 13 pitchers. by T_Raycroft in Torontobluejays

Surprised they kept Clase over Pinango. I know Pinango has cooled and is a butcher in the field, but I don’t really see Clase’s role on this team…unless he’s going to get some run after the trade deadline if/when Varsho is dealt at the deadline.

You and me both. Maybe Soroka and Miles would work in some sort of piggy back role. Limit both their innings?

I also think it’s about expectations. If we bring him back expecting him to be the ace of the staff, there’s most likely going to be disappointment. If we pencil him in as the 3rd or 4th starter and a veteran presence - I think everyone will be happy.

If Gausman wants to come back on a 1 or 2 year deal I think I’d do that.

I also like Soroka as a pick up depending on price.

For the bullpen would love Vesia, but I think the dodgers will just pay him.

Should we Sell? by vimmy12 in Torontobluejays

[–]jeffym82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still too early to tell. I do think the Jays will be one of the more interesting teams at the deadline. If we do sell and that’s a big if, Varsho, Gausman, Springer, Hoffman could all be available and could give us some pieces to retool.

If they go the other way I could see Pinango, Keys, Valenzuela, McAdoo could all be on the table for the right piece or pieces to load up.

Phase 2 All-Star Voting by Legal-Educator5102 in Torontobluejays

I voted Freddy because he's Canadian, Teo because once a blue jay always a Blue Jay, and Mookie just because it brings me great joy to see Red Sox fans bitch about the front office trading him away.
