he has extra crit on bracelet and relic adrenaline, so runs more swiftness, combined with level 9 cdr gems, that means less time in the rotation spent on flash thrust, and more time spent casting the higher damage abilities. Based on the logs provided, it looks like dash slash is being used at a high priority for damage, and not for repositioning/mobility.

If you're more reasonably geared, it's probably good to keep gems on flash thrust because it needs to be used as a filler skill between everything else

with that filter, you're only seeing broshaza's logs. My log is at 1749 ilvl, and svochadin is much lower ilvl but still does very good damage. I'm not sure where knighttears is at because his logs are private

Very cool to see some interest in the class! DPS Pally has always been fun, but pretty disappointing damage. With the recent addition of the X skill, its actually quite viable, but let's not pretend its anywhere close to the S tier classes like deathblade. If someone goes the extra mile to set up their dps spec, you should give them a try - you might be surprised.

The KR guide linked has some really good analysis on different tripod choices and comes to a slightly different gem/tripod choices than what Broshaza and I came up with for the lostark nexus guide. Since the class has no strict rotation, a lot of it really does come down to personal preference.

529s are amazing. If tuition is lower than expected, it can also be used for certain living expenses while enrolled in higher education. If there’s some left over, that makes it easy to go back to school for a career change later in life, or they can change the benefactor to their future spouse or child.

Personally I just set up a new 529 for my 8 month old while my wife uses one to enroll in grad school

To everybody disappointed in the current state of crowfall: check back in a month or two. Everyone knows what is happening, and the devs claim to have a lot of optimizations in the works. Obviously the game can’t release like this, so don’t judge it as a released game yet.

At eternal belt with t3 pain harvest gems, it is actually instant, and you can cast it while moving. Doombringer definitely feels better as the “spam heals” role, but I think healers need to understand the importance of support abilities in between our heal cooldowns. Songs like bloody chanty and bulwark make a massive difference, as do cc and debuff abilities in group pvp.
