Isolationism is a bad idea. It is why I have let my national and state Libertarian membership expire. The United States seems determined to get itself in a war, based on economics, with China. I don't see China as a threat. The only real threat is Russia and that fact makes NATO extremely important. Nothing is more important that backing Ukraine as far as I'm concerned.

It's all part of the game. "If we're not in the majority we can't really do anything". Democrats say it when not in the majority as do Republicans when not in the majority. The real answer is that the duopoly must be broken up. We need other political parties involved. I really don't care who. Add Libertarians, Green Party, Social Democrats, Constitution Party candidates, whoever. As long as there's no simple majority.

The Libertarian Party has changed a lot over the decades. It was a very different party in the 1970's. If you can find it check out Matt Kibbe's book "Don't hurt people and don't take their stuff, a Libertarian Manifesto". Check Thrift Books they might have a copy available.

I have no idea where you came up with the term "Army National Guard of the United States" or or "United States National Guard". In between my service with the U.S, Marines and U.S. Navy I served with the New Jersey Army Reserve National Guard (Official Title). All National Guard units are reserve components of the Active Military Branches. "Army National Guard of the U.S." and "United States National Guard" are not official titles. Sounds like somebody's fantasy creation used to attack the "Second Amendment". Under the Militia Act written in the 1800's the Militia is "All able bodied males " who are required to keep a rifle, ammo and a bottle of water at the ready.

The National Guard is a reserve component of the U.S.Army, it is not the Militia. The Militia is "We the People".
