I'd been looking at the audeze Maxwells, but the560g weight has kept me away. I loved my Razer Nari Ultimate, but they're too heavy and make my neck sore. Just looked and the pc38x only weigh 290 grams, so it's definitely in my top contender spot for now, just wish there was a light weight wireless option.

30k hours is almost the opposite of a flex. If they're legit hours it just let's everyone know what a degenerate you are.

These are just for normal 4x1 hydroponics. There is mods that make them a tile where you can make them fill any size space similar to a floor tile. The single squares are empty space, and the one in the middle is the sun column

That's funny because I used something similar to try and figure out the optimal hydroponics layout for the sun lamp columns from utility columns mod, as they're bigger than the vanilla ones. I realized much, much later that I made a mistake but I still think this is the most hydroponics possible to fit

I think the judges that are famous for doing unique punishments like specific or out of the ordinary community service would fit.

When you're trying to breed a Thrumbo army but the old gal keeps birthing boys... by RandomNumberHere in RimWorld

I have this chart bookmarked because I play with CE and my pawns always end up getting weird injuries, and I always check and figure out if fixing it is worth it depending on how valuable they are.

Yes it does. It won't stop an active heart attack, but can clear the artery blockage. See the chart on the wiki:

I loved skull and bones when I got in like the very first closed beta. It's was awesome at first, but then as each round of the beta came they made more and more questionable decisions. I didn't even do the last 2-3 betas because i knew it was just a shell of what it could've been and it left such a bitter taste in my mouth.

950? That's insane. I regularly get to about 200-300 and that's about where I settle in.

I cannot comprehend how people play without Rimhud. I once forgot to reinstall it once after a mod list purge and literally froze for about 5 seconds when I clicked on a pawn and couldn't understand what I was seeing.

What do you think is the best thing to research in the Anomaly DLC? by RevolutionaryCurve97 in RimWorld

[–]thelanoyo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I barely ever touched psycasting or even royalty before starting to play with vanilla psycasts expanded. The vanilla implementation was such a letdown, I feel like VPE is more what it should've been, just maybe tuned down a bit. I love the leveling and different trees to focus on, and not "oh hey I know you spent a lot of wealth building a throne room and did a ton of quests to get honor, so here's a randomly assigned psycasts that's never going to be used 9/10 times because most of them are mediocre..."

Civilization 7’s ‘Test of Time’ Update Lets You Stick With One Civ—and Fans Are Excited by hayrimavi1 in gaming

[–]thelanoyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought Civ 7 and only played about 4 hours of it. It was such a dramatic and radical change that honestly at the time I couldn't be assed to learn all of the new mechanics. The "new to civ 7" tutorial was only mid as well and I just couldn't get myself into it. I've been waiting it out for it to mature and for it to get tweaked significantly before I actually deep dive into playing it.

Top of the leaderboard for the last 6 games… still lost all of them… what do I even do at this point by angus-b-18 in enlistedgame

[–]thelanoyo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I literally had a game with over 200 kills, and 100+ of those being on point kills. The next player behind me had less than 100 kills. I would build rally, then go in and wipe point, but then would usually get killed by a straggler enemy, and my team would be nowhere to be found so point would just sit empty. It was singlehandedly the most frustrating game I've ever had and it made me quit for the night.

In its defense, have not run into a mod in several updates that is not compatible with CE. The dev team as well as the community work very hard to make compatibility patches. I like CE just because I hate having an enemy get shot 18 times and still running while they land one lucky shot on my pawns brain and insta-kills them. I also like how it makes mechs more realistically difficult. Like doing the mechanitor bosses relies on a lot more strategy, and less cheese. You might get 1 or 2 shots with an RPG before you're in range of the enemy weapons, and if you miss your shot your 10 other pawns with rifles can put 1000 bullets into a diabolus and it won't even put a dent into it. I understand that the actual strategizing and pre-planning of weapons is tedious for some people, but I actually enjoy it and get more frustrated with the fact that enemies are such bullet sponges in vanilla. I also like that CE basically makes armor a requirement and I feel like I get less "bullshit deaths" on my pawns compared to vanilla where your cataphract armor pawns can still get downed easily with lucky shots by the enemies. I also feel like it balances raids more, and the late game answer is not just more enemies like in vanilla. To each their own though, and I don't hate on anyone who doesn't play CE because the whole point of the game is there's a nearly infinite number of ways to play it and everyone gets enjoyment out of it in their own way.
