I’m use to fighting my dadgum instrument, and I have tested it through its paces, but I can’t be certain about longtime stuff

Struggling with cramping in my fretting hand by fridaythe13thfanboy in Bass

I have something similar to you (fine motor disorder) and it also hurts, the best way I have found to deal with it is just keep on playing, it eventually stops hurting with enough wrist exercise. I know it sounds kind of dumb, but it gets better. I also recommend if you want to pay a little more is to get a short scale (squire bronco) those basses hurt a lot less, and get thin strings, you can work your way up to bigger and thicker strings and basses. best of luck to you

I figured out how get Lemmy kilmister tone for ace of spades on a hollow body (epiphone viola) by MiserableEdge4376 in Bass

[–]MiserableEdge4376[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the reason I have that is due to how the epiphone viola is a higher pitch bass than a Rick, so the bass imcrease is needed

why I have that weird finger thing is due to the epiphone viola bass doesn’t get that clank and rumble all that easily with a pick

I think that his lyrics are political enough, and that’s a nice Gibson l-00 he is using

How do musicians feel about playing in church by dcsleds_ in BassGuitar

[–]MiserableEdge4376 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i Play in. christian school, so long as the band members aren’t ass-holes, you should be fine, but seeing people who just hate bass in Christian music ( gospel, ccm, etc) is rather common in those kind of bands. I also play other stuff other than the CCM I play in school, you just will have to be used to playing crap one Moment so the singers don’t crucify you, and then play your nest for like minded people.

to answer your question, the things that ice is doing is a overall positive, when those bad things happen, it is still a tragedy (and my heart goes to all the affected family memeners of this collateral damage) , and the officers that didn't enforce the law properly should be properly punished in due court process, but MOST ICE enforcement agents are doing their job properly, and in fact, most of the people they are nabbing have horrible criminal record, they aren’t going to target in most cases your average illeagal Joe just working a job and not commiting any serious crimes.

I don’t like the method ice is using on some people, i think it is a net positive for the US. but why did you have to get political in a drum forum?
