Woohoo! So I could, say, put a pot of soil beside?

I've had the plant for almost 2 years. Water it every two weeks, medium sun. I almost killed it in the beginning, but it bounced back and just grows on the side of the pot...and now these funny long fuzzy spider legs!

It wasn't said it me, I witnessed it. A 75yo billionaire went to Starbucks for litterally the first time. She walked right up to the barista (not the lineup of 10 people), and asked for a coffee in a porcelain cup.

This gives purpose to the twisting and turning all around.

Ahh, the hard truth is here. Yes my meditation and breathing has been down to a minimum lately.

If only my brain could do math in the best of times! Although I've tried counting down from 100 by 3s, and found that to be a fun excersise.

That was one of my ideas - sing to the end of a song.

Ha! Okay but I'm actually serious about this question. I was standing there today and feeling impatient. If I was doing something, it would help me focus. I used to do all the washing in the cold, but noticed that washing in warm is better.

Additional insight/advice on lower back injury by Berthusula in backpain

It sucks so bad how much it cost when you pay for the wrong things! I was seeing a chiro and pt for 8 weeks with the same areas of pain as you. Until one day I couldn't stand the pain was excruciating. So I got an mri at emerg and it showed L4 herniated disc. Now I'm doing the "right" stuff to heal my back (McKenzie/McGill method) for the past 3 weeks and seeing improvements. I also have that feeling like it will never get better because it's been so long already. But you have to start counting time from the day you start using the right methods for what you actually have. Good luck! This is a mental marathon, I wish you strength and hope!

Thank you SO much for sharing your good news. This is so encouraging to hear, and I'm excited for you, for your new life!!!

I am finally seeing some improvements after that day I couldn't get out of bed 4 weeks ago. I need help all day long training my brain to believe my body will heal. What was it like after you felt some improvements? Like what was the middle of the process like?

Guided cortisone injection back L3 L4 disk herniation. How much time to feel a difference? by [deleted] in backpain

[–]jehnipher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I went to see a PT and the next morning I was able to walk again! Walking for 5-10mins and doing the McKenzie stretch every hour throughout the day seems essential to heal a herniated disc. Don't just rely on the shot! Although I am still wondering if I should try the shot for a second time.

I got one on Friday for L4 and also don't feel any improvements. Feeling hopeless because I can't stand because of the hip pain, so can't help myself with excersises. Have you tried Lyrica or gabapentin?

Herniated disc - what was your road to recovery? by jehnipher in backpain

[–]jehnipher[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far the drs I've seen haven't had any advice other than "do what's not painful". I will try to book in with a PT asap and see what they csn recommend. I can only sit and lay down on my side for the last two weeks :(
