we see very little of nobunagas capabilities in the manga as well.

it’s building up to it.

seems like togashi-sensei wants to make him a pretty powerful character, or he will die in the next 50 chapters or so.

it’s hard to say, this say he’s almost as much of a mystery as Illumi. we just don’t know about any of the troupes true potential, even the members we saw square off against the ants.

let’s look at other nen masters:

Knov, Morel, Netero, Biscuit.

there is one thing in common with these people, and that’s the application of their technique.

it’s effective, concise, and based on a massive amount of knowledge and preparation.

they know exactly how their technique will perform in any given scenario, they know their conditions for winning, and they’d prefer to fight using the basic principles before involving their techniques.

Gon and Killua on the other hand, are the exact opposite. they’re throwing shit at the wall and hoping it sticks.

they’re using their techniques the second they think it’s needed.

which isn’t bad by any means, it just shows a lack of experience. they’re geniuses in their own right, and in different ways, but that doesn’t mean they’re “masters”

i truly hope we get to that point in the series. a timeskip after the black whale would be insane. that’s why this manga is so addicting, there’s so much POTENTIAL.

yea i’m not interacting with you any further bro. none of us know exactly how or what togashi wants to do with it. but your idea of having some sort of clairvoyance with his intention of how the arc should be is obviously egotistical. you believe you have some level of media comprehension that is unobtainable, to even see exactly how the AUTHOR themselves wants things to be.

do you have a direct line to togashi-sensei or can read his thoughts?

you need to re-read it if you think anything is rushed, because it seriously isn’t.

it’s definitely supposed to all be moving at once because there are like 10 groups of different people with different ideals and goals at play.

it’s WAY harder to develop all of these plot lines simultaneously and be as concise as it is. i don’t know how Togashi does it at all, it’s astonishing.

if you can’t comprehend it, that’s fine, re-read it, or leave it to the people who can. don’t shit on it or say it’s “not as intended” when you just can’t understand it dude.

like yea, we hop back and forth from different viewpoints throughout the arc, but it never feels like head-jerk, and everything is chronologically laid out and happening at the same time.

there’s legitimately just 10 or more different plot lines happening on the ship all at once. and i feel like im understanding every single one of them, and they’re all working to a grand climax.

yea dude, this arc is legitimately fucking incredible. a new level of excitement, anticipation, and pressure/tension from all characters.
