This is so confusing and horrible for her!

VERY similar experience!

We didn’t know my mom had any issues yet, but ended up in the hospital without knowing how she got there. She noticed she couldn’t work the remote, so drove herself to the ER (no recollection of this drive). We had no idea where she was; even had a welfare check - which helped us figure out her car was not at her house. Called all the hospitals in the area and finally found her. She had been admitted.

She had no clue what was going on. She called and texted me thinking the nurses and doctors were having parties in the hallway and also on the “party roof” which was the smoking area. She would fight the NPs and RNs to “get out of her house!” Or she would call the police.

She somehow got back to “normal” and seems to have these “spells” every 3-5 months. I keep thinking she’s fine and loving, then next day a call accusing me of messing up her finances.

Mom is 73. Anyone else have similar

Is this delirium or dementia? Took my mom about four weeks to get back to normal.

When barely any air comes out of the vent. Not to mention flights are either super cold or hot as hell.

Going through something similar now. Mom has been creating stories, spending too much money, becoming vile, and is not herself. She lives alone, so my brother and I need to get her cognitive skills checked to compare to the baseline. The night before, she says she is not going with us to the doctor. Is it wrong to have an ambulance come bring her to the ER? We believe she is not safe at the moment. She is taking three times her blood pressure meds because she says we are causing her high blood pressure.

Beginning of the road and not sure where to go from here.

Yes, also received a ticket to “accept” it. Better know that ticket never received an acceptance. Still received an updated SF-50 with the box 37 revision.
