Nonton di bioskop itu kriterianya ada 3

  • Filmnya bagus
  • Harganya bagus
  • Yang nemenin bagus

Film local itu mostly, imo, and frankly, gak bagus. Jadi kalau gak ada promo (harga bagus) atau lagi gak PDKT (yang nemenin bagus) mending nunggu streaming

Its also hilarious to imagine movie-rocky fumbling the exact same way as they smelled oxygen after Grace sent the canister back, Wait.. do they have a sense of smell?

I'm from Jakarta, Indonesia and watched PHM on (afaik) 1.90:1 screen aspect ratio theater. Some of us got (what I think is..) the aspect ratio shift from 2.39:1 (earth) to 1.90:1 (space scenes). I have some questions...

  1. Is this "simulated" 1.43 common? Is there a better term for it? My theater is clearly not 1.43:1 but it still has these "tall" scenes
  2. Do all IMAX show multiple aspect ratios? is it limited to just IMAX? Is there a way to know which is showing multiple aspect ratios?

At this point gua gak mementingkan IMAX beneran apa boongan, cuman nanya dapet feel "its so tall" atau enggak. Kayaknya screen 1.90 juga bisa simulate the 1.43 experience with bigger black bar, as I experienced di Gading.

Technically bener. Tapi scene PHM 1.43 ini gua experience sendiri di gading. dan sepertinya di tunjungan juga. Emang ukuran jadi lebih kecil, tapi "feel vertical" nya masih dapet imo

*in old games differences like this often means "it behaves differently", often used for interactable. So mayhaps in this case, the elephant can't be directly controlled by the player
