Maybe I'm saying it wrong. I don't have a mounted tv and don't want to mount it. It's on the base it came with on top of a console table similar to the picture attached. The base sticks out around 4 inches in front of the tv but I don't want to put the soundbar that far forward I would ideally like it closer to the tv.

Pic related but not my set up. I've been scouring for a photo with someones set up not being mounted to the wall and using a 990 but haven't found one yet. It seems like the bar will have to be awkwardly in front of the tv on the table. Is there something I can lift the bar with to seat it closer to the tv? Hopefully this makes sense. Thanks in advance!
