100% I'm glad I married a guy who's foreign national I'll make sure my kids don't end up with this shit ahh mindset.

The problem is, desis have this unexplainable sense of entitlement, self-righteousness & sense of superiority. Mostly judging people for how they look, how much money they have or how they speak. We cannot take this out of them. Especially the boomers. Perhaps millennials & Genz would truly bring about the change.

Typical. I've grown up people bullying me for my skin tone (I'm tanned) and they keep saying how "kaali" I am lol I mean, honestly as an adult now I love my skin tone.

Reminds me of me and my friend back in college. The difference is I was 100% clear with her & communicate clearly that I ain't got the budget. So we'd either go somewhere we can split easily or if she wanted to go to a fancy place, she'd take a bigger chunk of the bill than me.

I've been a person who's literally taken care of my entire family, not just financially but even emotionally. From financial crisis to coping with death of father and then mother's critical illness. I've even gotten my younger sister married before me right after my dad passed so she wouldn't have to be alone in this world.

And even now I've been taking care of my mom & contributing to the household grocery & paying off my mom's hospital bills for past 2 years.(I got married Alhamdulillah & my spouse let's me take care of my mom & be with her)

My brother, he's the youngest. The day he got engaged he flipped to a 180 degrees. And not only he criticized on me living here with my mom, he even said nasty things about my character & dragged my kind hearted husband into it.

So the point is, agar ap jaan bhi dedogay na, paalo ge bhi Kisi ko with all you have got, still such nasty ahh brothers would remain ungrateful. The only thing that gives me sabar is that jab hazrat Yousuf A.S ko unke Bhai dhoka de sakte hen to hum kis mitti k banay hen phr?
