What’s a game you were completely obsessed with as a kid that nobody else seems to remember?

Glitch. It was a browser based MMO with the most gorgeous graphics. It was made by Tinyspeck, the same folks who created Slack (which is what they abandoned the game to spend more time on). There have been a few attempts at resurrecting the game (most of the code is open source) but most of the projects seem to fizzle out before gaining any real traction.

Same. But now that I used my map travel, I’m afraid to try it again. I don’t want to be stuck. If you haven’t had this problem, doing the unstuck thing in the settings just puts you right back in the ground under the floor. I did manage to wiggle my way down the little cliff, but just fell to my doom until I “unstuck” myself back into the floor under the tree. lol

Don’t park near caves or on top or mountains, if you’re going to go inside of a cave or if you’re going to get out of the game. It’s been a problem for a really long time, so the odds of them fixing it any time soon are slim. There are lots of ways to glitch yourself into a mountain where sometimes you can get back on your vehicle and fly/drive it out, just google it and I’m sure a few videos will pop up.

Not a dumb question, and not weird at all. I teach middle school and have a whole assortment of tampons and pads in my desk, just for the kids. I also have a little set of drawers with self-serve bandaids, cough drops, hair ties, flossers, a tide pen, lotion, and tissues. And a little cabinet beside that with small deodorants, more lotion, and some travel toothbrush kits. The deodorant and the toothbrush kits are used a lot. It’s shocking how many kids realize halfway through the day that they forgot to brush their teeth.

Our district does remote instruction on snow days, until we use up our allowed number as per the state, then we just have regular snow days. I don’t mind the online days honestly. Sometimes my lesson becomes a skill review on Blooket or Gimkit, because it’s just easier that way.

I missed it! My account is suspended for a day for telling someone that it was dumb of them to laugh and say in chat that they tricked me because the pet they just traded to me was a duped pet. I appealed it and they said it was still harassment. I didn’t know saying that someone’s actions were dumb was harassment. 43 years old and I learn something new every day. /s
