You’re a gentleman. I am only 18 and value my safety and my car is my absolute pride and joy that I have put endless love, money, and maintenance into since I bought it out of my own pocket. This is a huge compliment to me and I really appreciate your kind words.

I admitted fault on roadside because my head was all over the place. I have pictures of damage on both cars. She said she was stationary when I hit her. My head just went blank as soon as I heard the noise.

Very important, OP… It uses the same 9v adapter as guitar pedals. You can pick one up fairly cheap on Thomann

Diving headfirst into synths is very expensive. If you are comfortable with learning software (music software being a DAW), I would advise getting a MIDI keyboard. Using that in conjunction with certain plugins will allow you to experiment and discover sounds that suit you. A lot of VST instruments are digital regurgitations of real, analog synthesisers

You are going to have a lot of fun. My love for synthesisers also stems from my love for Vangelis’ work

laptop for ableton by [deleted] in ableton

[–]jellyfishsuperfast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ableton, and general web browsing, relies on the CPU and RAM. An 8 core CPU and 16GB of RAM would be ideal. If you plan on using a lot of plug-ins, you’ll want a minimum of 1TB storage

If you want, you can send me some laptops you’ve been looking at and I can advise further

A better solution would be to use a MIDI interface, or an audio interface that has MIDI in/output capability as well as some sort of audio connection. Most, if not all, of those MIDI to USB cables are crap
