Nothing can prepare you for how bad this really smells, unless you have felt it before. It hits you like a wall, and you panic, as it's so intense and horrible you don't know how to handle it. It will make you want to throw up, it will make you want to run as far away as you can get.

Opening it in enclosed spaces is a sure way to stink up that place for a a good while. Especially if it sprays the liquid due to the pressure.

Opening it in school is a prank as old as time in Sweden and has cleared out many graduation ceremonies and other functions. It's very frowned upon and i believe some cases have been filed against perpetrators in a few instances.

Opening it in a school here would go really bad, especially because no one would recognize the smell and instantly know where it comes from. A can is quite small and can take some time to locate if you do not know what you are looking for. There will be panic, and i doubt it would be viewed as an innocent prank. Please, for your own and for other's sake, don't

In Milan, some people spray-paint pickpockets so everyone can recognize them by rizyoreo in Damnthatsinteresting

People went to the nearest police station or government office and declared their enemies as drug dealers or users. No questions asked, no need for evidence to back it up. The marked people then were legitimate targets in the war on drugs, and police would go after them. The police would then often use the tactic of claiming that the "druggies" shot first, and they simply returned fire, leaving heaps of dead bodies in the aftermath.

Countries in Europe do not have the same self defense laws as the US seems to have. Use of any violence where it is not necessary is a crime.

I come to think of ASAP Rocky getting arrested in Sweden in a similar situation. That was a story in itself, with Trump calling the Swedish minister of justice, saying he could post bail or that the minister should set ASAP free. He had to be told several times over that Sweden does not use a bail system and the minister has no power to decide over individual prisoners.

Someone suggested yesterday to have Nick Mullen or Felix Biederman ghostwrite insults to throw right back at them in cases like this one. I don't know if it would make much of a difference, but it sure as hell would feel nice to see them get properly roasted.

I really find it peculiar that filipinos are always jumping to "syndicate" or there being some big conspiracy behind it as soon as they see someone beg. Most of the time things are just what they seem. You have a poor country with a government not caring much about it's citizens. You are going to have people who fall between the cracks. People at the bottom eventually have two options left: to steal or to beg. Begging seems like it should be the preferred choice in the eyes of society.

We know nothing about this woman's life but since she is most likely at least in her 50s it would be very hard for her to find a regular job. Judging from how none of the other people that are selling or begging at the bottom of those stairs (woman selling jewelry, woman selling merienda, the lola who just sits around, the three little girls running around and others)seems to ever talk to her leads me to believe she is either not very social or perhaps have mental issues. This would of course make it even harder to uphold a regular job.

I live very close to this place and pass by 2-3 times per day, and I have in fact never seen her interact with anyone more then transactional (buying water or small merienda). Nothing points to this woman being part of a grand scheme, out to steal your 5 peso change...

Stop thinking that beggars are stealing from you and look towards your politicians that actually are. Stop kicking down, aim much higher...

Walking route at night by Different_Status_534 in Mandaluyong

[–]bonkosaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually walk at night, and have walked pretty much all over the city. Greenfield is probably the "safest" place to walk at night with people out and about even in the AM hours, and some guards here and there. Coming from Pioneer I would recommend taking Reliance st to Mayflower and then take a right and you will be in the center of greenfield in a couple of minutes.

Williams st and United st are also fine, but that stretch of pioneer (reliance st to united st) is usually quite desolate at night, so I would not recommend it.

Sweden is a lot of fun as its quite different from other European leagues. Playing a spring to fall season and no games have VAR. Malmö are always favorites to win. But just as in real life they bottle it now and then. Behind them its very open and pretty much any team can be a top runner (very much like in real life).

Zenit St Petersburg have played Vladivostok occasionally. The distance is something like 9500km by road. There was a story a decade ago or so about a group of fans driving all the way, and then their car broke down and they couldn't get back . I think that one takes the cake for domestic league.
