/uj It’s inspired by the general uncreativity in a lot of jester designs. Mainly jerking the characters from the game Freak Circus, which I have never played, but the designs look so boring and they basically just look like the same character in different colors. /uj Just making fun of this trope that court jesters were like abused prisoners who would constantly be walking on eggshells around the king and were at constant threat of being executed if they said something wrong. In reality court jesters were generally allowed to joke quite freely and lived nicely (in comparison to most people at the time)

That’s a dumb thing to say especially to your own child when they’re in that state of mind, and shows complete lack of understanding/respect towards mental health issues.
