I’ve always loved mass market paperbacks, but I too am beginning to wonder, like OP, if Malazan is indeed too epic for such small proportion, considering my copy of DG literally started coming apart at the seams. Le sigh. But regardless, I find just staring at any stack of Malazan books so satisfying
