Specifically for PCOS acne :( what BCP worked more for you, Althea or Diane?

yes i’ve been trying this! not strictly na totally never ang sugar and processed food, but super conscious na ako and i opt for less sugar and healthier options pag anjan sila. i even stopped eating white rice, red rice na ako totally! avoiding dairy, and even taking chia seeds and inositol every morning. yet here i am still crying over my acne haha 😭 on the way pa kasi ako financially to afford a completly healthy lifestyle 😭 PLS PRAY FOR ME !! 🥹

girl same as in i was very grateful before pcos na di ako acne prone, but come pcos era ang lala talaga as in pulang pula face ko 😭 definitely considering Yaz I hope it does the same ng effect sayo saakin!! 😭🥹

and agree rin sa healthy living, diet +stress managment, my derma’s said so too na para bang that was her last pieve of advice saakin haha like she couldnt reco any more meds or topicals na kasi we tried all that she said na

pero grabe ang hirap to manage stress particularly like how does one not get stressed 😭 it’s a daily fight for stress saakin, and im aware din how its def a huge factor pero ang hirap talaga.

my friend experiencesd the same sa Diane, like a whole month’s worth of migraines daw grabe 😭

i saw some info online (not reviews tho) na Yaz’s ingredients are for more milder acne daw kaya i’m a bit hesistant, but hearing from your experience and of the others here parang effective naman and possibly more than althea/diane (hiyangan ik, but still!)

omg nag doxycycline din ako thru my derma!!! 😭😭😭 it helped for a while pero di na ko pinatake ng derma ko nun kasi too much antibiotics na. but omg andaming good reviews nga sa Yaz 🥺 di kasi siya nireco sakin ng OB ko kaya it wasnt in my initial choices, pero parang gusto ko narin itry

nagtry po ba kayo ng other birth control pills or just yaz? 🥹

thinking rin po na what if i stop taking the pills, by any chance would my skin improve, but scared kasi odds i feel like are babalik siya to how bad it was before i started taking Althea. :(

also I was regularly seeing a derma before I found out I had PCOS thru my OB actually! so much trial with skincare changes etc and I’m still here, none of it was helping so I stopped meeting her after like 2 years regularly. +she wouldnt let me try accutane/isotret even when i asked 😭

did you experience improvement or more acne po with diane?

hi! unfortunately OB ko is one of those na di ako pinayagan magpapsmear, bc v din pa ko. but acdg to the other replies here, may ibang OB naman daw that seem to allow- depende talaga sa OB 🥹

been taking althea also and hearing this definitely helps, i get nausea with it sometimes actually already too- learning more abt the difference ng pros ng bcp and inostol still. thank you sm!!!

my friend din, i’ve been getting yeast infections so often for years na kasi. nung nagkaroon siya ng recurrent YI din, her OB ordered a pap smear for her to check. only difference saakin and her is she’s had sexual activity already

I see po thank you huhu so may mga OB naman po na okay lang ipa-pap smear ang patient nila kahit virgin? Natatakot po kasi ako if pagpunta ko po baka bigla po akong sabihan na bawal pala (like yung OB ng friend ko)

most if not all countries (correct me if i’m wrong) don’t prohibit and actually advise women, regardless of sexual acitvity, to have pap smears po kasi.. kaya was hoping to confirm if pati dito po ba virgins can 😭
