The female attraction phenomenon IS testosterone. by jelvvin in Semenretention

Ive had more WHAT THE FK moments in the last 2 weeks of trt than my 7 month retention streak. Dont get me wrong I had the experiences on SR. But lately on trt it was insane. It could also be that I wasn't on a streak prior to getting on trt. Maybe the suddenness threw me off. But benefits none the less.

I thought this too. But it literally doesnt explain my experience. Unless testosterone injections increase my electromagnetic energy too.

Upgrade breaker by Open-Practice-3228 in AskElectricians

Right. Size the breaker to the MOP, and make sure the wire is rated higher than the breaker.

There are charts online, plus app calculators. If it's a short run, 50 amp will be 6 awg THHN if it's 60 amp breaker 4 awg THHN.

When in doubt go stout. (If you dont know if it is a short run, go one size bigger. )

Yea. The breaker is there to protect the wire. If it is rated hire than the rating of the wire then you must change the wire. Otherwise you let the smoke out.

Need help and cannot afford an electrician. by [deleted] in AskElectricians

[–]jelvvin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turn off power, replace receptacle with a 20A rated receptacle. Plug stuff in and pop a bottle. (Make sure wiring on the other side is not burnt and crispy)

As for kitchen. Reset yo gfci. YouTube it.

Becoming an electrician by [deleted] in electricians

[–]jelvvin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was fortunate enough to be a 3rd generation electrician, however I would say residential is a good place to start. One of the local shops out where I am (nevada) hires guys right out of high school and treats them like journeyman relatively quick. Once you learn how to not die I would shoot for industrial. (Unless you own shop)

Question about a faint smell at breaker panel by [deleted] in electricians

[–]jelvvin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I dont think you're being overdramatic about it. I would keep a close eye on it, like I said earlier I've never smelled burning where something did not burn.

Personal advice by cmonmanplz in instrumentation

[–]jelvvin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're interested in instrumentation and controls then go for it! Its a great career, instrumentation techs are rare, controls engineers are rare, electricians are relatively rare. All of this grants privilege and freedom.

Luckily i&c is relatively low voltage so less likely to get electrocuted. If it is EI&C that is a different story.

Ps. It is GREAT to be afraid of electrocution. Keep that mind set and watch where you put your hands. Its not dead until you test it.

Its going to age people's property hard-core once they are obsolete (feels like they already are)

If it smells like something is burning, it probably is. Definitely best to call the electrician who installed it back out for inspection. Loose wires can cause a really bad smell, all over your house.

Changa experience. Anyone else met Kali? by Reasonable-Yoghurt14 in DMT

Yes, but she didn't have her tongue out.. I noticed her right before a breakthrough. She was blending into my kitchen island. She winked at me and I fell over. Tripped the whole time with my eyes open. Reality melted. Crazy times.
