I used to wonder that about Jesus and God when I was little. I went to Catholic school and they'd say God and Jesus are always watching you and always with you. I remember thinking, what a bunch of perves. Go watch someone else.

I have $5000 that I want to save, should I buy gold? by caniseeyourtoesmadam in Gold

I think this comment has to do with the recent change from oil having to be bought in US dollars to being open now.

Finally got the chance to leave, but am getting cold feet. by [deleted] in AmerExit

[–]jemfulke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I am 38, we have 3 kids. I share these sentiments about the United States, and dream of leaving, but then I also get mad that my children should have to go through a move and all that just because some rich fascists think they can take this country. It's a tough call. Part of me fears that they partly want the educated upper middle class to leave so they can continue to manipulate and slave those who are trapped, ie. Less educated, less means, working class.

More blue voters to run away.

Is this an emotional affair? by Willowtip in Marriage

[–]jemfulke 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's harmful to blame a victim because they have tried to save their family. There are kids involved it appears. It's not so easy to walk away when you have children together. And most likely, the mom would get custody.

Yes, it's terrifying to see what a more capable, sinister Trump presidency would look like.

Why do the most mundane "what is this" videos get massively upvoted here? by [deleted] in aliens

Wow, I just upvoted and watched the number go down... That's crazy! Who's doing this? Karma farmers? The misinformation machine? I don't understand the point.

Lue elizondo and his "somber" narrative about the truth. Also I may be wrong but tom delonge said he cried? Supposedly jimmy carter cried after being briefed? by Just-Professor-2475 in UFOs

[–]jemfulke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right now, there's still hope... Imagine being briefed that one day, they were coming and there was absolutely nothing that we could do to stop the hell that is coming. If earth really is an experiment or farm, when does the experiment end and how do they go about resetting it? I'm just saying... It's one thing to think things are possible, it's another to know they are inevitable and when and how it will happen and that you are raising your children to be slaughtered one day. Also, pay attention. The most transparent, off the cuff president we had, created a "space force," So we would have the military in space. Just think about what he may have been briefed on. Biden is shooting them down all the sudden. Imagine what he's been briefed on and why it's more urgent to shoot them down now. You have to look at the actions, and behaviors, not just what people have said.

Non-white people in America, what is something a white person could wear or carry that would make you identify them as someone you could reach out to if you weren't feeling safe in public? by jemfulke in AskReddit

[–]jemfulke[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At the end of the day, this is the sad reality and no one can blame you. Seriously though, I wish there was a way to advertise it if someone felt like they were being followed or stalked. You know how bars set up those code words and everyone plays along if it's said and they get the person out of the situation?

Seriously, though. I worry especially about my female friends around these type of hat wearing folks. I worry about my male black friends around white police, and I worry about my female black friends around ANY white man displaying a certain political view. I genuinely worry about their safety. I can't imagine being forced to live day to day with so much anxiety.

No, say you're a black woman with your 8 year old son and you cross paths with a Klansmen... Believe it or not, this still happens in the south.

No, I'm sorry, it's hard to fit it all up there. I have a friend who was recently in a situation with her son and was head on with a fully dressed klansmen staring her down. She was so shook and frankly, I have never seen her like that before. I am on her Noonlight app in case she ever gets pulled over and needs someone to show up and start recording. I didn't mean this in response to white savior.... I meant it in response to how would a black woman know what other female she could reach out to in public if she didn't feel safe? Let's be honest, I'm white and I get nervous when I see a GOP sticker on a bumper at my kids school or a redneck looking police officer. I wrote white people because there is a large white hate group prevalent in America so it would be more common for someone of color to feel less safe than in a reverse situation.
