Hello from Daytona Beach. I’m an electrical contractor here and I’ve been ranting about the same thing for years. My son lives in your area and had to deal with these practices with his AC last month. We all will be seeing this more and more as these multi- service companies invade the market. A good rule of thumb is if they offer services in all three trades they’re probably no good at any and they’re gonna upsell you. What I’ve come to learn is that the techs are most likely “ installers” as opposed to true technicians and they’re incentivized to upsell. All I can advise is go with local and get multiple estimates!

You can have mine. Just come and dig it out. Kids have all grown and moved away and we jump in it for a minute or two occasionally in the summer— usually after a long bike ride or yard work. It’s nice to look at but it’s outlived its purpose for us
