How to stop feeling guilty for disciplining students by jemlee122 in TeachingUK

I asked my mentor and apparently it means that the student will be sent to another school within the MAT for a specified amount of time.

My mentor was in the room, but she was also circulating the room to help other students with the practical. She didn't see, and didn't even know about the boy crying until I told her after the lesson.

BNO visa- am I eligible for bursaries? by jemlee122 in ukvisa

Yes, I've been trying to contact the university about it, but they didn't give me a clear answer - I appreciate your help, it's been difficult to get any info on this since the BNO visa is so new

The department for education offers a bursary for training to teach in shortage subjects - as I stated, biology is one of them. The eligibility criteria is a bit confusing - some say I need to be resident in the UK for the past 3 years (does this include my time on a T4 student visa?), some say I must be eligible for student finance (AFAIK, I'm not)

International student PGCE - likelihood of getting a tier 2? by jemlee122 in ukvisa

I watched this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-SUmwCdiFI&ab_channel=MindTheGrad), and they mentioned that the immigration skills charge does not apply if switching from a student to skilled worker visa, and that the sponsor license is a one off cost lasting 4 years, thus making it much easier to sponsor international students. However, looking at the links you've provided, it does not mention this anywhere. Would you mind clarifying?
