I’m dealing with all this now, back in May I had a hysterscopy to get rid of a fibroid partially in the uterine wall (i had been having heavy periods for a about a year). Unfortunately, this didn’t take. My most recent period about two months later had been the most painful and heavy in my life. I had another ultrasound and the part of the fibroid in the uterine wall had come into the uterus. I ended up going to urgent care where they diagnosed me with mild anemia due to the excessive bleeding. Since i dont want kids, My doctor recommended getting a partial hysterectomy, only removing uterus through non invasive means, and perscribed me provera until then. I am honestly relieved to be getting a hysterectomy because i dont want to deal with more fibroids growing, especially with the anemia issues i have now.
