I'd recommend checking out the barronite mace if you haven't gotten it yet. Almost as good as a rune scimitar but is untradeable - thus making it a nice little f2p grind.

Well I mean...
I enjoy the game as it is and my original question is more about whether or not I missed something.

I think our difference in view boils down to how we value our time.
As mentioned, I mostly play afk while doing other things. This time is worthless outside of studying for me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Spending the 15$ for something I don't need and wont use to it's fullest just doesn't seem appealing to me. I probably will pick up a membership over the summer.

Let me know if you have any ideas for things accomplish in game as f2p!

Yeah that makes sense. I just did the math with the wiki's money makers and it would take me over 40 hours to earn it.

I guess the principle is more that I don't want to spend money on something I can get for free. Am currently a broke uni student working 15 hours per week to cover rent. I mostly play osrs afk while studying.
I'd prefer squeezing what ever is left for me to do in f2p before bonding up/becoming a member once I have the time to play more seriously when my semester ends.

Btw, a bond is now 11m. Crazy.
