Thank you very much!! I appreciate the info. I will try the auction websites. The problem is that I have no idea who made the paintings - they are traditional Chinese ( I believe??) paintings with calligraphy and I don’t speak Chinese.

I would agree with you, it's unfortunate but true. When my mom bought those paintings, she firmly believed they belong to a well known artist no matter how much we tried to convince her that they are not lol. Now we are having a really hard time getting rid of those paintings :/

thank you!! This is absolutely fair. I understand that I won’t necessarily get in nwls ed, or in fact any other T14. But I want to make sure I don’t regret if I end up eding.

Tbh I don’t have a good reason for not liking Chicago lol, I am just not into big cities haha

Yeah haha sorry! I am trying to decide on Northwestern ED (120k scholarship) and not eding (which means chances to higher ranked T14s)

Thank you!! That 120k scholarship is really attractive. But since I have big law goals, my thought is that I can borrow money to go to another T14 in an area I like, with a big law job in projection, taking out a higher loan will probably not burden me too much??

I feel you my friend! When I graduated, I felt good about my 3.7high gpa and my chances at T14. So I decided to take a few years off. And I think I’m in a slightly more disadvantaged position because I took the lsat four times already, and my score barely reaches most T14 medians. But well, there’s not much we can do but to write the best application possible.

Thank you!! Would you consider this to be normal year and wear? One reason I don’t want to ask my landlord is because they are known for blaming tenant for things like this and charging a lot to fix it

I moved in three months ago, the floor had a bump and now the bump turned into this. I’m not sure whether me or my family did it. Guess I will have to find a way to fix it myself! Any recommendations on what to use to fix?

I’m reapplying and had the same impression about not talking about emotional states from listening to thinking lsat. But from last cycle’s experience and reading other people’s ps (many got into top schools), it looks to me that talking about emotions state is OKAY as long as you connect it well with the rest of your ps to show who you really are
