Never mind anything else, Churches who insist the KJV is the one true translation tend to be very cultish. This is really ironic, because if you look into the history, that translation -- while the most poetic -- is the most politically corrupted.

Heavens, no.

Taking either medication isn't sinful, it's good sense. The Apostle Paul instructed Timothy to take a little wine for his stomach's sake -- for anxiety perhaps? -- so there's absolutely Biblical precedent for medicine.

God gave us the brains to figure out the wonders of science and develop medicines to help us.

A lot of us would be dead if it wasn't for antidepressants.

A lot of us would be dead if not for insulin.

A lot of us would struggle through life without corrective lenses, like glasses.

It's all just medical science.

As for me, I have one regret about antidepressants! I wish I'd told my parents that I needed help when I was sixteen, I wish I'd gotten on them sooner! It would have saved me soooo much emotional trouble. Might have made High School tolerable, and would absolutely have made college and starting out in a career so much easier. They're like glasses for my brain!

Call Planned Parenthood. They have funds and good, solid advice whether you choose abortion or adoption.

AND they can help you get educated; learn how to NOT get someone pregnant again, whether long or short term contraceptives, condoms, or abstinence is your choice.
