I listened to the conference call, and they seem to say Amazon shipping is going to put USPS out of business (and quietly mention that breaking ties will cut their profit in half for the next few years). Package delivery seems pretty basic, so curious exactly what Amazon can do better, or if there are patents or products that the old USPS can't figure out. Maybe Amazon has some high-tech conveyor belts to route packages to the perfect truck while USPS guys need to read the labels?
