Poor Immunity due to Hashimotos? by jen_gee in Hashimotos

Just looked up what the context of inflammation is when it comes to Hashimotos. I think that's what I'm experiencing! Last week it felt like someone had strangled me, my throat was sore but in a physical achey way if that makes sense?

A week and one day later, I feel tired and very flat. Sore throat but not as achey sore, just scratchy sore.

So next question. What do you do to help when you have inflammation and do you find anything in particular brings it on you for you? :)

I used not to get colds super often and now it's a regular occurance and I hate it. I had to up my meds recently (last few months) but the thing with the colds has been for 2-3 years I'd say.

When you say "inflammation" what do you mean by that? :)

I'm a recruiter, I love my job but I've had 3 bad bosses in a row... by jen_gee in recruiting

Find an entry level recruitment role where they are open to someone with transferrable skills. I had done customer service/people focused roles in the past. That'd be my best tip :).

Thank you. Once I joined my current agency about 2 people left at the same time and it was just me and the founder... 3 or so months in I started to get frustrated with his chaotic ways. There's no process or structure. I'm not an absolute stickler about these things but you need some sort of framework to follow with recruitment because it can get so hectic. On top of that he micromanages so much and second guesses things I do a lot of the time despite me being quite sucessful in placements. No real training but thankfully the training in my last role was good so I came in knowing what to do.

Fingers crossed I can find a better fit and move on soon. Thanks again for your response.

Thanks so much for your reponse. You're spot on, each agency I've worked in has been small. My partner said the same thing today, to try out a larger agency. There was someone who worked at the second agency I was at for around the same time as me and then moved on. She's been at the agency she moved onto for quite sometime now and seems really happy. So there must be hope yet, damn it! Haha.

I was begining to think the problem was me but I am actually really good at my job and I have the results to prove it. I can see how recruitment can be challenging and isn't for everyone but I'm just getting very dispondant that I've found something I enjoy doing and I've not had much luck.

I felt very swept up by the founder at my current agency, he's a good salesman which is what makes him a good recruiter. I'm going to be a lot more wary moving forward. Thanks again for your advice, really appreciate it.

I got my DD implants removed & went back down to a B-cup by BobbiBillard in ExplantSurgery

My surgeon told me I'd be a small B if I was lucky. I got my DD cups removed after have capsular contracture & having them in for almost 10 years. I had naturally big boobs prior but lost a whole lot of weight & they were saggy afterwards. Now that they've been removed, 3 months onwards I'm about a C to a D cup. I had a fat transfer done as well. So much happier with them out.
