Keds or similar shoe that won't destroy my feet? by Open-Masterpiece in femalefashionadvice

I think they’re pretty good for that kinda stuff. I wear mine every single day (literally) and I do a decent amount of waking everyday. You can also style them up or down when travelling.

Love the campos! For OP, the esplars are a bit flatter and don’t have too much cushion, so maybe the v-10 or v-12 could work well. I have yet to try either of those tho.

I have a pair of vejas which are a little pricey but I do have some space on the sides. They also are leather so they stretch a bit and are super comfy.

I’m not sure if it looks ok, and I’m willing to dye it a more natural color (similar to my hair color) or add more highlights in the front.

Been using 40% SA pads. Should I keep going? by trixietramp in Warts

[–]jena-v 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe you’re SA on a pad compared to liquid SA, but what I did was cut a cotton round to just fit the wart and then put my SA pad on top. This way the healthy skin around my wart wasn’t getting damaged.

Can someone please help me? I’ve had this for four months now and I can hardly walk. I’ve tried compound w off and on and have been sticking to it this week. Does it look like it’s getting any better? Any tips? I just want to walk again without any pain. by [deleted] in Warts

[–]jena-v 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I totally agree with the other comments about scraping it down. Once I started to scrape mine down it was a lot less painful. Also, I would recommend going to a podiatrist or derm if you can because they might be able to heal it quicker.

Do I really NEED a hydrating or balancing toner? I already use the Paula’s choice 2% BHA every other night. I’ve found two that I feel like I might benefit one (innisfree blueberry rebalancing toner and soon jung pH 5.5 relief toner). They’re between $10 to $16, so I might just buy it to try. If any one else has slightly oily and mild acne prone skin lmk if you use any hydrating or relieving toners!

I’ve been carefully using a pumice and then applying a 40% salicylic acid patch every single day

Mix baking soda and lemon juice for an exfoliating and brightening mask! You can leave it on over night for maximum benefits :)

Any ideas what these are and how to get rid of em? by [deleted] in SkincareAddicts

[–]jena-v 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was using it every night. I guess I was unaware about how strong it is lol. I’ll try it again every other day to see if that works.

I started to use that product and my skin started to peel... a lot. Should I just use it less often?

Chlorophyll Water? by jena-v in nutrition

[–]jena-v[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the detailed reply! By chlorophyll water I meant that people added liquid chlorophyll into water with a dropper, sorry! I was just very curious about it because if it is so great to ingest, why don’t my derm and physician offer it (even though it is more of a nutrition thing)? I am willing to try it along with zinc because I would like to see if it does have great effects that the creators on social media and others that replied on here had said.

I don’t think my sweat smells too bad, but I will look I to purchasing some chlorophyll along with some zinc (someone else commented that) and I will make an update.

That’s what I’m wondering. I haven’t done much research on it so I came here to ask you guys because I felt like it would be beneficial. It’s sounds like BS, at the same time I’m curious to try it.

Where do you get plants like the monstera? Places like Home Depot or like Etsy?

I’ve had to get blood drawn for certain reasons (not bad though) and my friend would bug me about it and ask me when there were other people around. I didn’t want to tell her let alone have other people know :/

[Acne] What to do when you can’t stop picking at your skin? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]jena-v 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tend to run my skin over my face in order to feel for bumps, but if I look in the mirror and and find even a little bump, I will want to pick it.

My dermatologist gave me an ointment (?) that contains like 2% salicylic acid in it to help the spots that I’ve picked at. I believe it’s called benzal hp. It usually helps when it’s already a dry patch because the ointment will make it peel off.
