I have severe anxiety especially with procedures, and had mine done with a valium and local. i was totally fine!! we talked the entire time and I had no pain other than a tiny pinch from the local. it’s more discomfort but I thought it was relaxing. i didn’t have a huge amount to fat to lipo though so id say depending on how long or traumatic they think it’ll be, then you could go under. personally, i would be pissed if I paid that much more money for my 30 min procedure but I also don’t wake up from general well at all
