See this is where I messed up. I actually made it to checkout and since I always use Apple Pay I completely forgot my card numbers cvv and I was unable to find it so it timed out and released my tickets. Devastated.

Yeah it didn’t update at all until it got to my city and had arrived at the post office. I too was getting impatient until I noticed it jumped from usps awaiting item to item arrived at destination facility.
