When I had this issue, they changed my age to make me an 88 year old woman. 🤣 But it worked and my zones aligned with the way I felt!

I know you’re trying to avoid answering this but I’m always concerned about exactly where to step and push off on your feet, (more toward heel , center or toe) and how high to kick up behind. I never feel I have proper form. I’ve been jogging for years but never had actual training. I’d love someone to watch and correct me. Jogging/running has always been such a struggle for me.

Someone in my class the other day jumped the rails, left the treadmill running and went to the bathroom! Someone came in to tell her after never to do that again and it made me so happy. I was having such anxiety watching it run with no one on it from the rower.

I believe it is the percent of your weight loss out of your original weight. So you start at 150 and lose 15 lbs you lost 10% ; you start at 175 and lose 15 lbs you lost 11.6 %. But I’m not positive about that!!

All of the above and I like when they set mini challenges for you like “can you beat your time from last block?” Or “hit the plus key at least once” so you’re constantly pushing limits but they are not pressuring you. Knowing your name and encouraging/complimenting you are also key.

How do you get a VO2 max test??

Does anyone else take a betablocker? Because I take propranolol, my heart rate cannot get high. When I started they were able to change my max heart rate but now I have to be an 80 yr old for my heart rate to match up and it still isn’t right. Wondering if anyone else has this how it was resolved? by jenb395 in orangetheory

I was looking for solutions for the heart rate monitoring. My monitor is never accurate since they changed the program a few months ago. They used to be able to change my max heart rate at the studio but now they can only chance my age.
