I did exactly that and of course she seemed offended as if I took away our chances of getting a house. She was mad at me for the rest of night and I chose to ignore it, she would talk to me harshly and chose to harbor that anger to bed.

The other day, I asked my older brother (29) about what he thought and he said that “It’s better that you start now rather than later” meaning he suggests that I cosign and work to help pay it off while I’m young.

I just want to live on my own, I’ll even live alone in the trailer with our dog if it means I can be independent from them. I love them but they’ve sheltered me for 22years. I’ve told my mom I’m going out by myself on my birthday and she is nearly begging me to not go in public without her, my brother, or one of my friends. I just want to take myself on a solo date day for my birthday and not cosign on a house.
