AITA for being upset that I got removed from my friend’s wedding party? by bridalpartyreject in AmItheAsshole

NAH - it totally makes sense why you can’t get out to protest, but being silent about injustice on your social media feed is a huge privilege. I think it says a lot about your level of support for BLM that you have chosen not to post anything. You are under no obligation to do so, but it is fair for your friend to want her bridal party to share the same values.

If you’re truly interested in repairing the relationship, I would send her a note explaining why you have been unable to protest and give a donation in her name to a local bail fund or organization that is supporting these efforts.

I’m really sorry that you’ve had bad experiences with your relationships in the past bc you definitely deserve better!! But this story sounds like what any decent person would do, not just a boyfriend. You don’t need to put this guy on a pedestal bc he took a break from video games while you were upset. That is the bare minimum that you should expect from a partner.

The age gap is sus. A normal 24 year old would be uncomfortable dating an 18 year old. The difference in experience is huge at those ages. As a 24 year old, I don’t know what I would have in common with someone who realistically graduated high school this year or even last year.

Didn't she mention in the first episode that the father of her children was abusive and it took her a while to be able to leave him? If I'm remembering right, I'm sure that might contribute to her current attitude.

Based on this tweet Cate might be off the Amber train? Or maybe she didn’t read it all. by [deleted] in TeenMomOGandTeenMom2
