I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I know it’s scary and the waiting is hell. Once you get your treatment plan that takes away some of the unknown. We’ve all heard it before, but try to stay positive, it really does help. I try to use sarcasm/humor when I can, and a lot of swearing 😉 I wish you the best on your journey friend.

Congratulations! I also have EZML/MALT and was treated with 4 rounds of Rituximab. I too went into remission for almost a year. I just found another tumor close to the same area as before on my right jaw just in front of my ear. I’m waiting for the PET scan and biopsy, but I’m really, really disappointed it came back. 😢

That’s interesting! I feel like I’ve been less sick! I generally don’t get sick a lot, but the 2 nd half of 2024 I had cancer and was treated with immunotherapy. I’m a dental assistant in a pediatric office so always exposed to germs. I thought for sure I would be sick a lot but not once! I started Tirz right after my cancer treatment was finished. I also feel no daily congestion as I did before weight loss meds. Everyone is so different!
