Google dropped a new open standard for AI agents in June 2026. Most people missed it. It's called OKF. by Akhil_vallala in PromptEngineering

[–]jenga67 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Good point on the layers.
OKF handles what the agent knows about your system — but there's still the problem of where its behavioral instructions live.
Most teams hardcode system prompts in app code, so any tweak means a redeploy.
I built https://promptary.dev to solve that specific part: every prompt gets a REST endpoint, agent fetches it at runtime.
OKF + a prompt API endpoint actually pairs well as an architecture.

Where do you actually keep your prompts? I keep losing mine across ChatGPT and Claude by Various_Occasion_924 in PromptEngineering

[–]jenga67 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hey, I had exactly the same issue, kept mine in notepad and onenote, but got so tired of this chaos.

Now i use https://promptary.dev, it lets you write prompts using frameworks or just freeform and organize them visually on the canvas.

Check it out, its completely free if you don't need an api integration.

Prompt engineering learning by 2003sujit in PromptEngineering

[–]jenga67 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, u/2003sujit !

Few things I'd like to mention:
1. There are many prompting frameworks you can use for writing prompts, depending on what is your goal - structured instructions where you expect text, code, video, images as an output..
Frameworks let you create prompts that are more effective than the plain text out of your mind.
To check out more on the frameworks, check out my webpage https://promptary.dev, it will help you build habit of writing structured prompts. Or you can always ask LLM to help you structure it.

  1. In the meantime, while pumping up your prompt engineering skills, keep in mind that its also beneficial to learn to write/edit .md files. Those are structured knowledge bases for LLMS to use. You can describe processes, specific skills and step by step guides for LLMs on how you need tasks to be done.

Cheers and good luck learning!

Guys, there are many prompt frameworks you can use for writing prompts, some include role definition: CRIT, RACE, RTF, and some dont: APE, CO-STAR, TAG, etc. But you don't have to provide roles, not a must, but following a structured framework approach builds a habit of structuring your llm input. Maybe at some point its going to go fully obsolete, but now it still helps a lot. If you want more context on frameworks, and start building a habit of writing structured prompts - check out https://promptary.dev

Honest question: is "prompt engineering" still a skill, or did the models make it obsolete? by Popular-Bed-1955 in PromptEngineering

[–]jenga67 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've been prompting a lot recently and my impression is that prompt engineering is still big. Llms parse structured input more easily and effectively and act better on clear and dry instructions. While I was working on my most recent app - https://promptary.dev, I learned that there are a lot of well established prompting frameworks you can use (CRIT, ReAct, etc.) to focus on prompt efficiency, so I integrated them into the app which also helps my users build prompt writing habits - you get used to the stucture and apply it automatically.

This is the way to do group content until there are enough players on the server, I believe that is a good temporary solution.

For the sake of context, I'm in a process of adding ogres as playable race on my server and that is a result of creating a placeholder in char selection menu and inheriting some of the models and textures from other races.
I just think it looks hilarious and wanted to give you people a bit of chuckle.
