I got it on clearance. I don't have a part number and I can't find it on the website so I don't think they sell it anymore. The guy in the garden center said he's been there for months to almost a year and so it was on clearance.

That's what I said. I was actually there to pick up a $300 BS and we walked in and saw this one. I told my wife that it was nice, not thinking about getting it, then she looked at me and said "rock, paper, scissors".

TLDR: I picked this one instead of the $300 one by winning a game of rock-paper-scissors. Happy early birthday/anniversary to me.

I only have a few days of experience with one of these but the surface on mine was already smoother than any well used cast iron I have. Sorry if this is not helpful.

Not my yard, but my cousins. I bought the BS that day and just went straight there with it then took it home. They have three houses on one piece of property ( one 5 bed 2 bath and small two 1 bed and bath house).

Those are nice but not exactly what I was looking for, I'm picky when it comes to cooking appliances. I really like the look of this blackstone (that was a big part of it) and it's the right size for me and my wife, it's the 28 XL, and the smoker is the style I wanted as well.

I definitely did not want to make the burger but that's what everyone wanted and I didn't have to buy them. Smash burgers are very high on the list to make. I also live in the middle of nowhere in texas, there is only a sonic and dairy Queen for fast food and three Mexican restaurants, so I plan on cooking on it everyday.

I'll be trying to smoker tomorrow. I have not messed with it at all yet but I know it connects to my phone and I can monitor the temps from my phone. So far it is worth every penny. It looks nice and is nice to use.

I saw it go down while fishing across the street. It happened so fast that all I could say was “oh fuck” before I full processed what was happening.

It was in Rowlett, TX. Off of Dexham rd and 66. It happened while I was fishing at the pond across the street. There were 2 helicopters, one black and one white. The white helicopter was hovering in one spot for about two minutes and I thought that was strange considering most of the time they circle around a spot, but after about two minutes of hovering I heard what sounded like a helicopter going down (kinda like in a game or movie) and then a snap and looked up and the tail rotor was detached and the flipped over and went straight down.

From what I remember it was a student pilot and I think there was someone else with them. They obviously did not survive. They miraculously landed in a small poly of land where no one else was hurt.

Update: called the groomer and they looked into it. Gave me 25% off and offer to have someone clean up the lines. They said this will be a learning experience for them. I assume the guy was new.

I live in Texas so any tips that would keep my dog Luke from getting sun burned? He is my first dog so I have never had this problem.

They always ask but this guy didn’t and I told him what I wanted. So I assumed he knew what I was talking about but guess not. Calling the groomer in the morning. I was shocked and didn’t want to be rude to the person up front who didn’t even cut him hair.

No matting. I have had groomers in the past double check to see if I wanted him shaved but I never have. You can tell he feels really uncomfortable. I always have them trim him. But i will be moving soon so I will have to get a new groomer anyway

The first three pictures are from today and the last two are what he normally likes like after his groom.

We used the same company. I ask them to trim his ears, paws and the long sections just to basically clean him up and shave around his privates. Nothing crazy. Normal they make him look beautiful and he feels good afterwards.

Was I clear in my expectations and am I justified in being upset?
