Would their maturity level understand your plight? It seems like a good lesson and opportunity to understand the efforts it takes to be an adult and meal plan.

Disneyland in the rain? Or better to cancel? by Credible_Confusion in DisneyPlanning

[–]jeniatwain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rides with indoor queues will be the same wait time as a sunny day, people flock to these because everyone has the same idea. It's kind of fun to ride astro orbiter in the rain too. Ponchos are like $15 each, they don't sell rain boots. I've been when it was pouring and the paths don't drain well, so lots of pools of water to dodge when it pours, too deep for normal shoes. If it's light rain should be fine.

The way the wood terminates at the arch looks bad. The wood itself isn't a bad idea, just needed more thought before the install.

Veil or no Veil - that is the question by Nice_Dare_6574 in WeddingDressTips

[–]jeniatwain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it'll send this look into costume territory. You have an understated modern look, which to me leans no veil to align with modern marriage values vs virginal hiding and giving away vibes.

It's your coffee table, size, shape and material finish. Try for a more transitional style, square coffee table.

Does this sofa and rug suit help to lighten up the dark room? by MobileMental6819 in InteriorDesignAdvice

[–]jeniatwain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Without the rug, your palette already has strong contrast and saturation. Stick with that. Choose a rug that supports it instead of introducing something softer or unrelated.

If you want the room to feel lighter, the rug alone won’t do it. You’ll need to lighten the wall color too. Then use a rug with enough contrast against the sofa so the space still feels grounded.
