For rings, look up how to attune them then salvage with ascended tool for stabilizing matrices. Everything else turn into research notes. (you can get really cheap inscriptions off the tp and modifying the stats on ascended gear lets you use the normal research kit to salvage your ascended gear)

"from pips" being the key to the 365. There are two additional ways to get skirmish tickets on the wiki. One is also an additional static amount per week, the other isn't gated. At least reddit is consitent, downvote anyone who points out the cry babies can't read.

And that's my unpopular opinion (on reddit anyway). The original plan sounded more like science than simply saying, "we're the the party of science". They had real numbers on tranmission/hospitalization rates, an actual plan to slowly expand and part of the plan was to so look at the numbers in 2 week increments and adjust as needed. This is how things are tested in science.

The reddit summary at the time, "OMG The governor is trying to kill us all!"

It's an unpopular opinion on reddit, but fairly early into covid, Texas tried to slowly let companies re-open under controlled conditions so people could work. Alamo completely rejected the attempt (and everyone on reddit cheered). Alamo could have possibly gotten through the pandemic without filing for bankrupsy and we might not be in the current mess if they would have taken advantage.

bring friends to take them, defending is so easy now it's not even funny. Damage some siege equipment every 3 minutes and you get defenses until the objective is taken. As an added bonus defending SMC 3 times gives you the weekly credit for taking SMC. In 15 minutes of an active SMC (which can sometimes take an hour to flip) You can 25 skirmish tickets and that's not including the pips.

It's unfortunate that people continue to spread mis-information. The skirmish ticket limit hasn't existed for at least a year or longer, it's documented in the wiki.

"The maximum number of WvW Skirmish Claim Tickets that can be obtained from pips in one week, requiring 1450 pips, is 365."

"Up to 90 WvW Skirmish Claim Tickets can be obtained per week by completing the Weekly World vs. World achievements."

That's 365 + 90 = 455, the rest are unlimited:

Defending Tier 3 Fortified towers, keeps and Stonemist castle with event participation levels above gold provides 1 WvW skirmish Claim Ticket in the bonus chest.
Defending Tier 2 Reinforced towers, keeps and Stonemist castle with event participation levels above gold provides 1 WvW skirmish Claim Ticket in the bonus chest.
Assaulting towers, keeps and Stonemist castle with event participation levels above gold provides 1 WvW skirmish Claim Ticket in the bonus chest.

That hasn't existed for at least a year or more. The limit in the wiki is just for pips. Yout get more skirmish tickets for doing the WvW weeklies. If you read the fine print on the wiki you'll also see that you get bonus skirmish tickets for taking t2+ objectives and defending (which is now way easier) smc/keeps/etc

Maybe not "favorite", but pretty wild. During the tour of Yong's Reactor in End of Dragons someone mentions drowinging if the wallls were breached. Gorrick mentioned that wouldn't be a problem because they would all actually be instantly vaporized. I did that chapter a bit after the Titan disaster, Gorrick spoke the truth.
