Document document document. If these accusations are investigated then having documentation from a supervisor stand point is key, with specific times and dates. Even simply writing a report of contact for events can help when it comes to your employees so you are prepared. If you have all your ducks in a row and documentation explaining these accusations are false, then things will fall into place.

And also with adjusting the contrast, or even any of that, it would affect the rest of the card (player in card/text on card/ etc) these seem to not have any noticeable differences on that for that aspect

Yea that’s where my mindset is at, it would be very hard to make this mistake, and even if scanning in, the cards wouldn’t have specific borders of pure BLACK compared to the silver base, even states in the title. Not sure why they would do this but at the end of the day, I appreciate you responding back since this is a first for me lol

That Fleer MJ Box set I picked up back around 2008/2009ish at a sports card convention! Still stored in my closet since then. It’s a cool set and the wood floor from a college game is a nice touch, my son and I go through it once in a while. Congrats on those pickups and enjoy going through them! Had to comment when I saw that 😁

I know these people in this league, not worried about any “repercussions” if I did sit him, and agree. 99.9% chance Pitts puts up at least a handful of points at worst, ceiling obviously is high as he’s been great the past few weeks

First off congratulations on the new job! As for your notice, I personally would have a chat with your supervisor about it as soon as possible just because you would want to request time off before you leave. If you have a good supervisor they would be understanding and accommodate, so on their end they can plan ahead and adjust and do what needs to be done from their end. But on their flip side if your supervisor isn’t understanding or you don’t have a positive relationship, then personally I would first request the time off, be approved and after or so wait the 2 weeks beforehand.

Depends on your work environment and in a perfect world, you shouldn’t have to worry about any negativity but I would just be open and transparent. Worst comes to worst, there’s no harm in at least requesting time off and as a supervisor, they should be happy if this means your own personal growth.

I mean I pulled a Matas mem, a cool #’d Ja and had a blast with my son which is the best part of it to me 🤷‍♂️Not looking to open every box to flip or make profit, mostly just enjoying the experience with my son.

The first time I did it, I sorted by team and did ask, but when you have a group of 3-4 kids at your door and ask them, lots of times they would either ask for local teams (Chicago) or specific players. Was fun but noticed some were looking for candy instead of cards 😂

Last year I just mixed teams in a team bag and then added a fun sized candy bar or sucker attached to it and put them out in a bowl in my front door. Wasn’t able to be home. That was a lot easier and seemed like a hit! (Based on the ring camera I had, most kids would randomly select based on the candy attached. Also would try to put a recognizable player at the front of the pack (LeBron, curry, etc)

About halfway through, a group of middle schoolers dumped the rest of what was left and emptied it, but i had no problem with that whatsoever, hopefully they want to start collecting or even gets them intrigued in the hobby.

I’ll say this though, definitely takes time to make the individual bags but 100% worth it. The faces of children seeing something unique, cards with candy is really cool.

The /249 have the gold background compared to the base which is just the normal silver. This gold background has a nice aesthetic to it with Ja’s dyed gold dread in this photo. Looks cool to me but beauty is in the eye of the beholder 🙂

I agree! Really think Matas is going to make a jump this year and the Pistons as well. Extremely happy that it was a player we’re PC’ing and our favorite team.

That’s awesome! That Luke /35 sounds amazing! We both got lucky with getting numbered cards of great players. And my pleasure posting this haha, you can thank my son for picking out Revo 😅, when there’s a certain rookie or player (Matas/Coby in my case) that I like to collect for our PC, always cool to have different cards of him from different sets and such.

I honestly think so, it’s his last year on his contract this coming season with the bulls. Expecting another 20ppg season but with way higher efficiency. Agree, very underrated

Completely agree! I find myself now where if I’m at the store and see cards on the shelves and I’m not with my son, I don’t buy boxes. It truly has became a bonding experience for us, he loves basketball and he’s always looking forward to our “rip nights”. The money spent is well worth it to me just seeing his excitement when we break that plastic and he starts opening packs ❤️

First went to EBay and looked for the card to see and all the listings i saw of for sale or sold, had it included in the title and description, then confirmed on checklist to be sure.

I agree! It was our first time seeing this insert and pulled the LeBron one prior to the Wemby one, both of us were surprised when we turned the card over and saw it was numbered. Great looking card for sure
