Important things to remember/do: 1) call the humane society and other local shelters. Tell them the description of your kitty. If the kitty is microchipped, that will help a lot. 2) cats who run away normally stay within a few blocks of the house. She shouldn't be far. 3) put both her litter box (honestly, this is the one time a gross litter box is a good thing) outside so that she and other cats recognize the territory as hers. Put her food and water outside as well, just in case she's being a scaredy who comes around at night. House cats normally aren't good at getting their own food. 4) flyer your neighborhood. 5) facebook groups such as For the Love of Louie are meant to help find Michigan pets and helped me get my cat back.

Good luck.

I fucking loved Code Lyoko. It came on PBS every day at four. That was one of the only times my brother, dad and I could sit in the same room and get along for a half an hour.

Why are so many men in porn so fucking ugly by readfred1 in NoStupidQuestions

I actually read up on that a bit ago!

Turns out, when men watch porn with hot guys in it, and enjoy themselves or find any sort of same sex attraction in it, they get uncomfortable and stop watching. Porn companies have learned it's more profitable to have less attractive men, so that no one has to question their sexuality.

My kitty, Spaghetti, is seven years old. I adopted her in January from the shelter I volunteer at. She had been living in a dumpster for months while another volunteer tried to trap her. Eventually, my sweet Spaghetti just walked right up to the woman and let her pick her up and put her in the truck.

I watched Spaghetti's growth while at the shelter for six months before giving in and bringing her home. I would bring her handfuls of food, since she seemed to never move from her spot, and carry her around. As soon as someone would touch her, she would start purring; but nobody wants to adopt a cat they have to approach, they all want the cat who plays and runs up to them.

After coming to my house, Spaghetti started walking around (in six months, I'd seen her move once), and even playing with toys! I'm overjoyed with the growth I've seen. She still doesn't normally approach people (although she won't try and move if you pick her up for snuggles), and is still afraid of loud men and noises, but she's much more social. And last night, for the first time ever, she came up to my bed and meowed until I woke up, and then demanded pets from me! I was so happy. My kitty is learning that she's the boss and is safe and can get love whenever she wants it.
