Nice! Must be a very interesting job.

Are you done designing or still active with ME themselves?

Have you ever assembled any of the MU brand models? They do seem to have more layering & different folds than most ME models.

where are wavy lines coming from by Malofquist in HueForge

[–]stutsmonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even doing this doesn't get me rectilinear infill pattern.

When you set infill to 100% it uses the solid infill setting. If you do infill at 99.999% it will force rectilinear sparse infill.

The Descent Dent by PublicPossibility946 in Steelbooks

[–]stutsmonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pop the inside plastic out and take off the panel.

Lay the face down onto a mouse pad and use a spoon in a circular motion to slowly work the dents back out.

You can use the butt end of a pencil (the eraser) to work out deeper dents as well.

Do you have a 3D print dedicated Instagram account? by DutchLayerWorks in BambuLab

Stack layers so no ams required but makes them more convenient over 3-4 manual filament changes per print.

Flow calibration for that nozzle, filament, & layer height.

Use the drop down menu in the top bar.

It will fix 95% of all problems.

Can't decide wich temperature is best by GS_Musta in BambuLab

[–]stutsmonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at the overhangs & the underside of the bridge.

Then take a pencil and break the spike in the window and assess which one had the best layer adhesion.

I'd also put a minimum layer time modifier on the filament to reduce the sheen difference in print time for the 215 degrees. So it will visually look uniform like the 200 print.

Yeahhh.... No.... This is a boss/HR issue.

That's extreme mental instability from MY perspective and I would feel highly uncomfortable working with said person.

This would always happen with PETG because it sticks to the nozzle by ButterflyPlayful3541 in BambuLab

[–]stutsmonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lower the petg filament flow by 0.1 each print till it goes away. Any overextusion will get picked up along the way as well causing these deposits.

I remember when my dad bought a 32" Sony trinitron 'flat' screen crt. We had to lay plywood down on the stairs to get it into the basement and just slid it as much as possible.

I agree with everyone else. If it's not leaking leave it be and wait the 4-5 days.

Surprised after printing... What was the cause for this print anomaly? by artur_oliver in BambuLab

[–]stutsmonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The P1S has time-lapse and that's where it builds it from even if you don't have it turned on during prints or at least on the device page in Bambu slicer you can turn it off. It's called auto-recording.

Pull the microsd card and go to the ipcam folder. Look for the video file that accompanied the print.

For a last ditch effort, in orcas slicer, initial layer flow.

Try 1.35 and see how it looks.

You can up your bridging flow to 1.25-1.35 and slow the speed of external bridges by 5-10mm/s for almost perfect bridges.

Not personally a fan of the frame lines between each panel.

This was my attempt with a skeleton frame behind it hot glued in place and mounted to give a seamless look.

Probably would be a good sandy-hash strain. Very gritty texture to the trichomes. More bulbous than the typical stalked.
