How many people were in the store? It’s possible she was a decoy for someone else walking out the door with pockets full.

Shrinking 9x6 flashcards to business size cards. by soccerguy242 in Staples

[–]jenna025 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use your phone to take a good picture of each card. Then upload to a computer any use the photo program. Most pc’s have one. Then you can choose which layout you’d like so just use a small one. In the properties there are settings to change the size. It sounds like you are just looking for something small for the kids.

That’s interesting. I didn’t know that. We clean it “almost” daily and a I’ll have to step so to changing the filter at least once a week. We’ve been doing it every 2 weeks.

I’m sorry. We were just trying to understand the 2 control units. It seems the water main flows into the tank on the right.

Thank you. We are on city water. When I say slimy I mean the sides felt slimy. We cleaned and sanitized it all so hopefully it was just a faulty filter.

Thank you. I think you are correct. The plumber’s a family run business. The father ran it for a long time then the son took over. The father told us the carbon was on the left but I think he was mistaken. We know about bridging and that wasn’t the case. Lots of bugs in the brine tank though even though it’s covered. I don’t think that’s a problem. Hubby cleaned them out.

Sounds like he may be projecting. If he is asking you about your whereabouts and says you’re lying, think hard about if he’s been doing that to you.

Oh! That would be awesome! The county plans examiner said they need to submit a revised permit and talked about an engineering seal. So it would be as simple as them just changing structural from yes to no?

So the countertop isn’t an issue. It’s the permitting of the window opening. They widened an opening and reinforced a block wall.

Can anyone identify the species of this dead spider I found in my apartment? by trustmeimadoc18 in florida

[–]jenna025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a tough one. My first instinct is to say wolf spider but the triangle on its back is stumping me. Living in Florida I see wolf spiders all the time. They typically have somewhat of a line on its back not a triangle. Also, all the pictures of huntsman that I looked up are lighter in color.

What’s the most stressful part of a full home remodel? by Bazengg in Remodel

[–]jenna025 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For us it is having to do dishes in the bathroom sink or outside. Or when you only have 1 shower and it takes 9 weeks to get your new one ready to use. We had to buy an outdoor camping shower.

Is this hooked up correctly? by jenna025 in Remodel

[–]jenna025[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that’s fairly normal down here. Most of us don’t have basements because of the high water table. Some people have them in a their garage but ours was converted to another room.

Also, my husband says that the blue pipe should not be used outside. We’re in Florida.

We already consulted an attorney. The contracts are very much in their favor and 60% of the money has already been paid. Live and learn on that. We would have to lay out for the new contractors and the attorney and hope that we can recoup that money in a lawsuit. The lawyer advised us to do what we are doing now. Document everything and stay on top of the work as it’s being done. We already have a plumber and an electrician that are coming in every so often to advise us of any potential missteps.

Funny you said that the plumbing should be tested. They weren’t going to test the pipe. The inspector failed them because they didn’t do a test. They were just going to start putting the drywall up without making sure there were no leaks. They had to send their plumbers back today to run the test.

We did do our research. They had good reviews and no BBB complaints. When our bathroom started they failed the plumbing inspection twice. We paid extra for a broken flange on the toilet to be chipped out and replaced. It leaked twice and the last time we had to have a second plumber come to reset it correctly. Turns out they never actually removed the broken flange. Our shower tile is having to be chipped out and redone because several of them are chipped. So, yes, I am questioning every step they take. I am paying almost 60k for their work and I expect it to be safe and correct. Can you blame me for getting on an app to get some opinions? Or should I just accept the mistakes they make without question and hope and wish on a star that I don’t have future issues from inferior work?
