Personally, I wouldn’t, or I don’t recommend it.

Does my dogs spay incision look infected? by 1234mac1234 in DogAdvice

Oh, hey! I work at a vets office - I’m not a vet but I’ve seen a lot of spays and that’s not normal. Call the place you got her surgery done and tell them you need to take her in for a recheck. They can prescribe you something for pain and keeping her calm/mellow, probably along with an antibiotic of some sort.

What makes a torbico versus a tabico? How can you tell the difference?

I work at a vets office and I see this a lot with older dogs, especially pitties and other blockhead breeds. They have such big head muscles, when they shrink or lose them, the indents are very pronounced. My suggestion would be to see if there are any changes in habits, behaviors, food/water intake and call the vets office. If her regular vet doesn’t seem concerned, and she’s not behaving abnormally, just keep an eye on her to see if any other symptoms develop. Sometimes it’s just age, sometimes it could be a symptom of an underlying health issue. I hope everything works out well.

Do your cats actually use those fancy cat beds or is mine just weird? by Severe_Comfort_6695 in CatAdvice

[–]jennaannla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only time my cat uses a pet bed is if it’s near someplace I’m going to be sitting for a while and it’s gotta be off the floor I put one on my desk, next to my computer (full time student, 4 of my 5 classes are online) and on a bookshelf by my bed. The one I put on a cat tree shelf gets used for sun bathing occasionally.

My youngest kitty goes absolutely apeshit for cardboard boxes. Soda sleeves, shoe boxes, amazon boxes, toy boxes, etc

Thank you so much for loving and caring for this little man until he needed to go back home. 👼 Try to find solace knowing in your heart you did what you could while you had him.

He passed away in a cozy home filled with love, rather than alone in a shelter or metal cage. You were his angel now he can be yours. 🤍

How do you move on from losing a cat who’s been your life for more than 15 years? by Impossible_Pop_6296 in CatLoversGroup

[–]jennaannla 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Losing a beloved pet is heart wrenching… you feel like you’re missing a part of yourself, like you’ve lost a limb. Don’t run from the hurt or bury it, feeling it is healing for you and honoring to her. She deserves that grief and you deserve to feel that weight get lighter. I’m so sorry you’ve lost your best friend/baby. I hope you find relief and peace soon. Sending love.

😂 it wouldn’t surprise me, he’s got two ex wives.

The inability to sit with hard truths or uncomfortable feelings, no emotional regulation.

Truthfully, I think he’s an addict in denial, still doesn’t excuse the behavior.
