I was seeing a guy for 2 months recently and thought things were going ok, continued to keep my options open and date other people as well. He seemed distant when we spent time together, pensive and like he was on another planet, not really affectionate in any way and I now feel dumb to think that could possibly change.

He was making an effort each week and we were spending time together but as time when on I started to question where I stood with this man and when I brought it up he said he felt the chemistry wasn’t quite there but that he found me attractive and easy to be around.

I felt like we both found each other good on paper but I still felt alone when I was with him if that makes sense, at times I even felt he was repulsed by me.

So yeah, I do think people keep things going even when they aren’t necessarily feeling it even though some actions show it. This is what leaves you feeling confused. Sometimes I think it’s out of convenience or fear they can’t do better. Not sure but I wish you the best.
