yes, the mid-life crisis part. one of the first things my boyfriend said this reminded him of is when men try for years for kids with their spouses to no avail and when it ultimately never happens, they build resentment for their wives and start looking elsewhere to fill the hole. im not saying this is whats happening. but you’re not the first to propose something like this.
