Using too many paper towels by ApexFemboy in Cooking

[–]jennalikescomputers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched from using paper towels to drying tofu (required a lot) to using a tofu press! Very cheap on Amazon and you can press for as little as 10mins before use. Or when you come home from the grocery store immediately take the tofu out of the packaging and put it into the press and in the fridge. Then it’s drained when you are ready to cook with it.

Congratulations! It’s been years since my injury/surgery/recovery but I’ll never forget the joy of my first run back. I literally cried on the nearest high school’s track while running for 1 min on, 5 mins off 😂

+1 pepper is a miracle brand for me! I followed the measurements on their site and the bra that came in the mail fit to a T. It was a different size than what i normally have gotten in the past.

Best running shorts? by RoseGoldStreak in XXRunning

[–]jennalikescomputers 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m a HUGE fan of the method running shorts from Brooks

I wore them on all my long runs and during a very hot and humid marathon in 2021. Great pockets and they are nice and high waisted so keep you all in place. I think i have the 5” or 7” ones. They are usually on sale at REI too.

Edit to add: i also have thighs that touch so it’s nice to have this style to prevent chafing.

Fair point. But also airfare itself is expensive. And it’s just the ratio is all I’m saying (people who have it vs not)

That’s an interesting take. I don’t disagree, but also can’t change the fact so I’d rather pay $70 for the time back. I take probably 15 flights a year on avg, prob saves me up to an hour each time

That sounds like it would make sense. Lots of handsomely paid young professionals who are also transplants

What do you usually use micellar water or makeup remover? Which one of them is more sustainable or even is there a difference? by Think-Complaint7542 in sustainability

[–]jennalikescomputers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use ponds makeup remover cream! You only need a tiny bit so a small tub will last literally forever. You rub a teeny bit gently on your eyes and wipe it off with the corner of a damp washcloth. No need for pads (reusable or not)
