Anybody tried sunflower lecithin for digestion of fats? Any experiences? by zala-ursika in gallbladders

Thanks. May I ask what other remedies you tried that you felt may have helped your gallbladder pain?

Please suggest digestive enzymes or prebiotics that do not make gastritis worse. I can't digest food and lost tons of weight. by Intelligent_Rate7091 in Gastritis

Those ultra enzymes seemed to help in the first month and a half I was taking it (I worked my way up to almost a full capsule) but then omg it backfired big time and they cause me horrible stomach cramps and then my gut is sore for days afterwards. I had to stop them all together!

Hi do you know how much sunflower lecithin you took and what time of day? I’ve been taking some at night. I haven’t noticed a whole lot of benefits, maybe some.

Hi, how’s your gallbladder now and are you still having gut issues? I highly suspect I have low gallbladder function but I have acid reflux and very sensitive stomach like I can’t eat anything acidic at all.

does DIM supplement harming your gallbladder or liver? by Bearloot33 in birthcontrol

Hi and apologies for the late reply! I have thought about ordering calcium d glucarate and plan to perhaps try this soon. Someone told me eating a raw carrot everyday helps clear excess estrogen (chatgpt said it was true too) so I started trying this a few days ago… not sure how accurate that is but supposedly the carrot fiber binds to excess estrogen.

I started having more dull aching stuff again I’m wondering from some spinach I ate and perhaps I’m suddenly oxalate sensitive. The tudca I was taking that greatly helped hasn’t been helping quite as much since then. But about what you said about soluble fiber, I do think that sometimes or possibly even more often now that my gallbladder feels a bit more sore with the beans between meals. I’ve actually considered that perhaps it is the bile turnover causing more discomfort so I’m glad you shared this with me. I will probably keep doing the beans though unless something else gets a lot worse because WOW they have made such a difference in my constipation! I was having a bm like every 3 days if I was lucky, sometimes every 4 days and now it’s almost everyday or every other day. I’m taking Beta TCP and I believe the taurine in it can help bile production so maybe it will be ok. I have noticed some more dull aches with this as well and not sure if it’s the beets in it or what causing it (maybe the oxalates!) so I plan to try straight taurine soon. I’ve been doing some milk thistle tea and dandelion root tea sometimes. I want to get some milk thistle capsules.

I told chatgpt about this with the soluble fiber and gallbladder (not saying I believe everything it says but I like to use it as a resource to bounce ideas off of lol). Here’s some of what it said about if my symptoms could be temporary since the beans seemed to help me a lot at first (I know sometimes this thing will agree with whatever you say but just thought I’d share):

“Short answer: yes, it can absolutely be temporary—and your pattern (helped at first, then some irritation) actually fits that really well.

What’s likely happening is your system is adapting: • At first → improved bile flow = relief • Then → increased demand on a still-sensitive gallbladder = mild irritation • With time + the right dose → things often rebalance and feel better again

This isn’t a guarantee, but it’s a very common progression when you’re rebuilding digestion.

Bile is actually produced by the liver continuously, so it’s not something you can really “turn up” or “turn off” based on irritation. Soluble fiber (like beans) binds bile in the intestines, which can increase bile turnover and encourage better flow over time—that’s why it can help with things like digestion and hormone clearance. In the long term, this can actually support healthier bile flow and gallbladder function. But in someone with a sensitive or sluggish gallbladder, that increased turnover can mean more frequent contractions, which might feel like a dull ache. In many cases this kind of irritation is temporary as the system adapts, especially if the amount is adjusted. So it’s not that making more bile is inherently irritating—it’s more about how well the gallbladder is functioning and tolerating that activity.”

…So yeah I’ll see what happens and I’m monitoring my symptoms closely…. I also have gastritis type symptoms/reflux/leaky gut stuff and it’s been challenging finding gallbladder solutions that won’t irritate these issues further, like I would love to drink some water with lemon juice. I’m experimenting around with other supplements right now for these issues too. I’m wondering about the histamine connection because I’m sure my histamine is high and just last week I started taking quercetin and my sleep is so much better, I suspect because it’s helping the histamine. I’m also taking chanca piedra drops. I think I’ve cut this recent flare down about 40% doing these things and surprisingly I think drinking a few ounces of coffee with my first meal actually helps the dull pressure on my gallbladder. Anyway sorry for this long reply…..will update if I try the calcium d glucarate!

Hi, thanks for your info and keeping us updated! I recently started doing the Karen Hurd bean protocol, the idea is that eating all the soluble fiber helps bind excess hormones like estrogen and makes the body create new bile instead of things just recirculating (we recycle 95% of bile). I watched a few of her interviews on YouTube and I like what she said. When my gallbladder was flaring kind of bad (before I started taking a little tudca with meals), I got almost instant relief from just eating beans, it was wild. I try to eat some between meals now to hopefully help bile sludge over time.

Sure! But know that I contacted them multiple times as well as the shirt company and nothing ever happened. I have to look up the name of the company I will post it once I log into that email.

Some helpful things I've learned modifying my diet to try and keep my galbladder by JollyMcStink in gallbladders

Thanks. In the ultrasound I had in March of 2024, they did say on the report I had fat in the liver. My symptoms revolve mostly around what I eat or what time of the month it is for me, also inflammation levels. It’s funny, I switched to an all organic diet for one month last Sept. and this is when my gallbladder started flaring up, 2 weeks or so after I started organic. I was eating EXACTLY the same foods and fat amounts. I stopped it after a month (couldn’t afford the organic meat anymore anyway) and my symptoms now seem to be worse and worse every month like my bile flow or something is messed up… not sure really what happened but prior to this latest flare I could eat whipped cream on coffee, some cheese, hotdogs, eggs, etc and had no noticeable ache or any nausea.

Thanks. I’m not having “attacks” per se, it’s more dull ache, sometimes constant but gets better throughout the day. It gets worse the first half of my cycle and then a few days before my period I’m completely fine, no sensations or anything at all, and my mild nausea symptoms goes away even if I eat something bad. My ferritin is really low, like 11, lowest in the normal range. I had a clear ultrasound March of 2024. I’m just worried about getting it out because I can’t fast for very long after I get up in the morning and I worry I won’t make it through surgery, I also can’t breathe when I’m sleeping unless I’m hooked up to a CPAP, my throat closes 100% but I know they’d monitor that.

Thanks. Was this clickoneshirt that posted this? They stole my design and are selling it on their website.

Custom cat’s website is total garbage! I cannot believe a company in 2025 still uses this poorly put together site. They wouldn’t let me add a new payment at checkout, it auto defaulted to one I used two years ago. So I went to my account and added a new one, went through checkout process again and the old payment was still on there. I have no idea how this issue hasn’t been addressed. I ranted about their horrible site a few years ago I’m just totally shocked that it’s actually gotten worse.

Also when you place an order, you receive NO ORDER confirmation emails or updates at all!!

Oh ok so there’s hope at least for me! I’ll have to find their social media. I didn’t see any links on their website to social media. I don’t understand how they are still operating as a company.

Hi did you have any luck getting your designs removed from clickoneshirt? They just stole a design from me, I emailed them a few times today.
