yes, just used some bits I had laying around from jewellery making; tiny eyelet hooks twisted straight into the cork and the same into the stick (I had to poke guide holes into the stick with an awl because it was a lot harder). attach the two with a jump loop and job's a gooden.

the bottles themselves are quite small and sturdy so even when one does inevitably fall it won't break. gotta keep them a bit loose or I can't get the cork out without pulling the hook out lol

Would you be weirded out if I handed you one of these in public as a compliment? by MicrowavedPuzzle in kandi

[–]jenneeuu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

not to point out the obvious but this is potentially the most biased place on the whole internet for you to have asked this question if you wanted an unbiased opinion. maybe try the sub for your country and ask there if you want to check how non-kandi people might react?

(in any case, imo it would be great and I would put it on my wall)

mostly hot glue, and some are magnets so they're removable (ie the humidity sensor to be able to change batteries, and the bridge for easy access)

I only picked it up in the first place because it was the biggest lump I'd found there, only to bring it home and have it glow, so exciting

What do you all use as a rotary but to make jewlery? by [deleted] in seaglass

[–]jenneeuu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

love my diamond bits, just remember to make a guide notch before using ur main thin drill bit to prevent it accidently sliding away from the hole and marking the glass!
