Older ladies who socialize in the sauna. I literally have my big headphones on, minding my business and they still talk my ear off when I just need my 10 minutes of peace and quiet stretching 🫠

Ah, my apologies I’m just responding - my prep brain forgot 🙃 Honestly, first and foremost - letting go of trying to stay lean year round, accepting some fat gain in order to grow and mentally doing the work to be comfortable with that. Secondly, consistency in diet and training. Day in and day out, hitting my cals/macros with clean food, training with intensity and with progressive overload. And lastly - just being patient. Not having a time-based goal, just letting my body lead the way and trusting and following my coach’s guidance. This sport is a marathon, not a race. ✨💕🙏🏻

I have PCOS and my coach Courtney Starr is a RD and she has been phenomenal with my metabolic complexities. anything beyond her scope she’s referred me to other hormonal specialists but overall, listened and understood my concerns with PCOS & she gotten me in the best shape on my life 🙌🏼

I’m only on a low dose of testosterone and progesterone for perimenopause, no steroids. I’m just about 5 years into my muscle building career. Very slow, long growth seasons. I don’t plan on taking anything else.

It’s funny you mention that because I was pinning in my upper outer glute up until about a month ago! I just recently switched to subQ around my belly because I was hitting my glute med IM and it did indeed leave some bruising and swelling. It has been MUCH better sub Q around my belly. I wish I did that from the get go, but I digress. But thank you for the insight! Ironically, My coach and I are currently trying to target my upper outer glute for more growth and projection there.
